Shri B.K. Chaturvedi

Shri B.K. Chaturvedi started his career in 1962 as an Associate Professor of Physics at the Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College, Allahabad. In 1966 he joined the Indian Administrative Service and rose to the highest position as Cabinet Secretary in 2004. As an outstanding Civil Servant, he made major contributions in government policy making and implementation.
He was appointed as Member, Planning Commission in 2007 and was responsible for addressing policy issues concerning power, petroleum, railways, roads, road transport, shipping, ports, inland water transport and civil aviation. He was bestowed with the coveted Padma Bhushan in 2010 for his exceptional and distinguished contribution in the field of civil services.
Shri V.K. Shunglu

Shri V.K. Shunglu joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1962 and held the position of Secretary in the Ministry of Health and the Family Welfare GOI and Ministry of Industry and Company Affairs, GOI. In 1996 he was appointed as Comptroller and Auditor General of India and retained the position for six years during which he was elected for top positions in various international audit organizations and was conferred various awards for his exemplary services.
After his retirement he was invited to head various important Government Projects, Committees and Panels. He was conferred with the prestigious Padma Bhushan in 2019 for his meritorious contribution in the field of civil services.
Ms. Namita Pradhan

Ms. Namita Pradhan began her career in 1977 as an IAS officer and served in various positions in the State Government of Maharashtra and the Government of India including Ministry of Health and Ministry of Defence. She retired from the Indian Administrative Service with a rich experience of 20 years, including 15 years of experience in the United Nations where she served in various capacities including as Assistant Director General, Partnerships, UN Reform and Country Focus, WHO Geneva,; Assistant Director General, General Management, WHO, Geneva, Advisor to Director General, Geneva.
She was awarded the Lester Pearson fellowship by International Development Research Centre, Ottawa, Canada.
Prof. Dr.(Mrs.) Usha Luthra

Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Usha Luthra has been a Post-doctoral teacher, an investigative pathologist and a sound researcher of international repute for over three decades. Her area of specialisation has been Cancer Research for which she was awarded the Padma Shri. She is also the recipient of several national and international awards from USA and UK. She has held responsible positions in various educational/medical institutes, centres, committees at the national and international level.
She retired as Additional Director General of Indian Council of Medical Research and Founder Director of National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. She is a life member and Trustee of The Delhi Public School Society and she has been promoting quality education and positive behaviour towards health and well- being of the young generation.
Shri Ravi Vira Gupta

Shri Ravi Vira Gupta joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1962. During his tenure he served in key positions at various levels in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and in the Government of India. He handled a number of challenging assignments and was closely associated with various aspects relating to cooperatives and agriculture. He was appointed as Registrar of Cooperatives as well as the Managing Director of National Cooperative Development Corporation.
From 1991-98 he was closely associated with economic reforms at the level of Additional Secretary and Secretary, GOI in the ministries of Fertilizer, Food and Finance. He was also Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India for three years.
Shri Rahul Singh

Shri Rahul Singh graduated from Cambridge University, England and started his career as Assistant Editor with The Times of India. He also worked with Reader’s Digest, Sunday Observer, Khaleej Times, Dubai and was consultant for the United Nations for which he wrote a book ‘Family Planning Success Stories.’
He was Chairperson of an NGO, Popular institute (Washington) Global Media Awards Committee. He has also been the President of the Board of Trustees of DKT India, an NGO in the reproductive health field. He was on the Advisory Board of World Literacy of Canada and on the Selection Committee of the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust which gives scholarships to Indian students going abroad for higher studies. Shri Singh has been a Consultant for ‘Education World’, India’s leading magazine on education. He has written many articles on politics, economics, social issues and travel.
Dr. Kiran Datar

Dr. Kiran Datar started her career as a Lecturer and Reader in History at JDM, University of Delhi and moved on to the position of Principal, Miranda House, and was subsequently appointed as Dean of Colleges, Officiating Vice Chancellor and Advisor at University of Delhi. She has also worked as Advisor at National Knowledge Commission, Government of India.
Dr. Datar is actively associated with many leading schools of Delhi, as well as institutions of higher education, as a member of the Board of Governors and the Board of Trustees. She has also been a member of the Governing Body of CBSE and a member of its Finance and Curriculum Committees. She has been a recipient of many prestigious awards and distinctions. Some of them including Lala Ram Mohan Prize, Dorothy Lee Grant. She was awarded Mahila Shiromani Award-1994 for excellence in chosen field of activity (Education) and Himotkarsh National Integration Award 2005-06 for excellence in the field of education.
Ms. Vrinda Sarup

Ms. Vrinda Sarup joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1981. She served as Secretary in Food and Public Distribution in the Govt. of India and was the Secretary in the Department of School Education and Literacy, Govt. of India. She also served as Principal Secretary Finance, Principal Secretary Technical & Vocational Education in Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.
She had the good fortune of crafting ‘District Primary Education Programme’ and ‘Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan’. She has also been instrumental in reorienting and redesigning the scheme for Vocational Education in Secondary / Senior Secondary Schools in 2014. She has worked closely with various international organizations. She is a member of the Management / Executive Committees of several schools in Delhi.
Shri Kaushik Dutta

Shri Kaushik Dutta is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with over 25 years of experience. He retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers after spending over 22 years in the practice out of which 17 years have been as a partner. Post retirement, he has been retained as an expert on Corporate Governance by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in matters relating to the future of corporate governance in India. He is the founder member of Thought Arbitrage Research Institute, an NGO working in areas of corporate governance, public policy and sustainability.
He has also worked with Conference Board of the U.S.A., Asian Development Bank, Institute of Directors UK, Asian Institute of Corporate Governance, Genesis Park, USA, the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, CII, Assocham, Department of Public Enterprises, National Foundation for Corporate Governance etc. on governance matters. He has been a founding member of CII’s National Council on Corporate Governance. He has been a visiting faculty at IIM-Lucknow and IIM-Kolkata for the course in Financial Statements and Reporting.
Justice (Retd.)B.N. Kirpal

Justice (Retd.) B.N. Kirpal received his school education at Modern School and graduated from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. After obtaining a law degree from Delhi University he started legal practice in 1961. He was appointed as a Judge of Delhi High Court in 1979, and as Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court in 1993. In 1995 he was elevated to the Bench of the Supreme Court of India and was appointed as the Chief Justice of India. He was Chairman of the National Forest Commission from January 2003 to May 2006.
Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia

Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia is an economist, civil servant, and a former Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Government of India. Dr. Ahluwalia joined the World Bank in 1968 as an Economist and rose to the position of Chief of the Income Distribution Division. In 1979 he left the World Bank to join the Government of India as Economic Adviser in the Ministry of Finance, after which he held a series of positions including Additional Secretary, Special Secretary to the Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Commerce Secretary, Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Finance Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Member of the Planning Commission and Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister.
In 2001, he was appointed the first Director of the newly created Independent Evaluation Office of the International Monetary Fund. From 2004 to 2014 he was the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Government of India. He was awarded Padma Vibhushan for his outstanding contribution to economic policy and public service. He has many publications to his credit including his latest release is ‘Backstage: The Story Behind India’s High Growth Years’

Shri Vikram Mohan Thapar is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is the Joint Managing Director of Ballarpur Industries Ltd. the flagship company of one of the largest corporate conglomerates in the country – The Thapar Group.
He is the Chairman of The Waterbase Ltd. an integrated aqua-cultural venture in India. He is Director of Thapar International Ltd. Thapar Consultants and Service Ltd, Sterling Steels and Wires, Khaitan Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd. and many other companies. He is also a Patron Member of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India. He is passionately committed to the cause of the Blue Revolution in India.
Rear Admiral (Retd.) M.M. Chopra

Rear Admiral (Retd.) M.M. Chopra served the Indian Navy in various capacities and rose to the highest rank available to him then. After retirement he holds responsible positions in various social and national organizations such as the Indian Council of Child Welfare, Rural Rehabilitation Commission, Chinmaya Mission, a Business and Law School in India and abroad.
He pursued his Master’s in Economics followed by LLB and MBA. His passion continues to be education and association with children. His other interests include study of scriptures, particularly the Quran and Bhagwad Geeta. He is a polyglot and can speak English, French, Persian and Urdu.
Ms. Shovana Narayan

Ms. Shovana Narayan, M.Phil and Master’s Diploma in Public Administration, has immensely contributed to Indian Audit & Accounts Service while holding esteemed positions in various Government Offices, Ministry of Water Resources and Ministry of Finance. She is an eminent Kathak Dancer of India, at present focusing on her dance form and training students through Asavari Institute of Kathak. She has to her credit many path-breaking works whether they were sensitive portrayals of social issues or human tragedy such as Kargil War, World Trade Center, 2024 Tsunami tragedy. As a deeply committed and involved artiste, she works very closely with spastic, mentally and physically challenged children.
As a staunch believer in the Gurukul-parampara, she imparts to her disciples not only details of Kathak but also her own sensitivities and message of love, righteous practices and trust, which makes an artiste humane. She was conferred with the Padma Shri in 1992, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 1999-2000 and numerous national and international awards for her outstanding creativity and contribution to the art.

Justice (Retd.) Vipin Sanghi

Justice (Retd.) Vipin Sanghi is the former Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court and Judge of Delhi High Court. He has also served as Acting Chief Justice of Delhi High Court.
He is an alumnus of Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, the flagship school of the DPS Society. He pursued B.Sc. Mathematics (Hons.) from the Delhi University in 1983 and LL.B. from University of Delhi in 1986.
The same year he was enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi as an advocate. He has practiced on Civil and Constitutional matters in Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and High Court of Delhi. He has attended various International Law Conferences including the LAWASIA Biennial Conference in Tokyo, Japan and Gold Coast Australia, The POLA conference in Hong Kong and the INSOL Law conference in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Dr. Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan

Dr. Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan, an Astrophysicist, completed his B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc, in Physics from the University of Mumbai. He received his Doctoral Degree in experimental high energy astronomy in 1971, working at the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad. During his association with ISRO for over 35 years, he was the Chairman for nearly 10 years. While at ISRO he worked on the design and development of early satellite systems and played a key role in shaping India’s remote sensing satellite capabilities. He is presently Chancellor of the Central University of Rajasthan and NIIT University and Member of all the four National Science Academies of India. He is associated with several International academies and is the only Indian to be conferred the Honorary Membership of the International Academy of Astronautics. He is also the recipient of honorary doctorates from several universities.
He has been a member of the Rajya Sabha and now defunct Planning Commission of India. He was also the Chairman of the Committee that drafted the National Education Policy. Presently, he is the Chairman of the National Education Steering Committee for developing the National Curricular Framework. He is the recipient of several national and international awards. The Government of India has conferred him three major civilian awards: the Padma Shri, the Padma Bhushan and the Padma Vibhushan.

Dr. Harsh Mahajan is Founder & Chief Radiologist, Mahajan Imaging; Chairman, CARING (Centre for Advanced Research in Imaging, Neuroscience and Genomics). Chairman, Department of Nuclear Medicine & PET CT, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi; Consultant, International Atomic Energy Agency. Dr. Harsh Mahajan, an eminent radiologist, is the Founder and Managing Director of Mahajan Imaging, which runs a chain of diagnostic centres in Delhi. He pursued his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College and MD in Radiology from PGI, Chandigarh and fellowship in MRI from the world famous MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas , USA in 1987. He set up one of India's first MRI centres in 1991, which would qualify as a startup in today's parlance.
He has been invited as a speaker to MIT in Boston, Radiology Society of North America in Chicago, European Society of Radiology in Vienna, and has lectured in Japan, South Korea, China, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and all neighbouring countries. Dr. Mahajan has received many accolades and awards, including the Padma Shri in 2002. He was the National President of Indian Radiology and Imaging Association in 2012. He is a Consultant to the International Atomic Energy Agency at Vienna, Advisor to UPSC, and is on the Government. Committee for Make in India for MRI and several other organizations.
