Holograms, changes to colours and logos, Heat Patches, ISI and AGMark or GTIIN numbers helps in anti-counterfeiting in limited way. It requires large information per product specifics to be remembered or known by every consumer. Impossible for all human beings to remember everything about product.

Legal Help

Consumer/Brands can take legal help to report against the fake products or makers of them. But, due to above limitation, there is a very low percentage of reporting of counterfeits, which crashes further down to negligible numbers when it comes to conviction of culprits or awarding severe punishment off lengthy legal process.
